The IKEA vision
Our vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people. This includes a lot more than just a great home furnishing offer – it is also about taking social and environmental responsibility towards IKEA customers, coworkers and the people who produce our products! Our never-ending list
At IKEA we are constantly questioning what we are doing and how we can do better. As a result we have started to make a list of improvements, new designs and social initiatives aimed at taking better care of the environment, the earth’s resources and each other.
Partnership
To help us to compose and conduct the improvements IKEA co-operates with WWF, UNICEF and Save the Children. We also co-operate with companies, trade unions, NGOs and other organisations to develop and reinforce the impact of our work within the social and environmental field. By doing this, we are able to learn and share experiences and accomplish more than we could have done by working on our own.
It's time!
So after many years of hard work - which has been very successful in many areas - we will now tell what IKEA does in the field of sustainability.
